Italy ranks first, Turkey moves up to third, and the latest standings for the Chinese women's volleyball team are out: they are only seventh in the world.

On July 27, Beijing time, the Women's Volleyball Nations League has fully ended. The Turkish women's team displayed dominance, with Vargas scoring 33 points, crushing Brazil 3-1 to win the title. As a result, the latest world rankings have been updated. Italy remains first with a huge lead, Brazil is third, Turkey climbed to third after winning, USA fell to fourth, Poland is fifth, Japan is sixth, and China remains seventh!

The Italian women's team, as the absolute powerhouse in recent years, failed to defend their title in the VNL after being swept twice by Brazil, but finishing third still means they didn't leave empty-handed. Thanks to the large points accumulated earlier, Italy's top spot is unshakable for now, leading the standings with 461.17 points.

The Brazilian women's team was very unlucky. They thought they had overcome the big obstacle of Italy to win the championship, but unexpectedly faced a strong challenger in Vargas-led Turkey. Brazil fought hard for four sets but lost 1-3, marking their fifth runner-up finish in VNL finals. It's a heartbreaking and tragic story. Still, Brazil ranks second in the world with 403.61 points.

The Turkish women's team shone brightly in this VNL, showing dominance. Led by Vargas, they swept through to win the championship, securing their second VNL title in history and taking home the highest prize of $1 million, becoming the biggest winner. With this strong performance, they rose to third place in the world rankings with 388.35 points.

The USA women's team topped the standings in the preliminary round, but after being upset by China in the quarterfinals, they still gained some points. They climbed to fourth place with 363.57 points. The Polish women's team performed poorly, losing many matches and failing to enter the finals, resulting in a significant loss of points. They dropped to fifth with 338.37 points.

Japan remains the top Asian team. They squeezed into the quarterfinals in this VNL but were swept by Brazil in the quarterfinals, missing the semifinals, so they stay in sixth place with 331.36 points. The Chinese women's team had a poor record, going 6-6 in the preliminary round. Although they beat the USA 3-2, they didn't gain many points. Later, they suffered heavy losses to Turkey and Italy, and while they remain in seventh place, their lead in points has been greatly reduced to 315.51.
