Retribution has arrived! Real Madrid's hijack of Diomande triggers a chain reaction, with Paris Saint-Germain stepping into the transfer of Rodri.

Multiple reports indicate that 19-year-old Ivory Coast forward Diomande is nearing a move to Real Madrid, with a transfer fee estimated at over €120 million. Top journalist Romano has already used "Here we go" to confirm it, and while the Athletic's reporter is less definitive, they are convinced the transfer is just a matter of time.

This potential deal has not yet yielded further updates, but discussions surrounding it continue to expand. According to Spanish newspaper Diario Sport, Diomande's situation has triggered a chain reaction, with Paris Saint-Germain now entering the race for Rodri.

The story dates back a few weeks. According to RMC Sport, Paris Saint-Germain had already reached a personal agreement with Diomande, who was impressed by the Parisian project and gave a verbal commitment to the club's hierarchy. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi personally advanced negotiations with RB Leipzig's supervisory board chairman, Oliver Mintzlaff, who demanded €130 million. Although the price is high, PSG was confident they could negotiate it down.

Then Real Madrid stepped in.

According to L'Équipe, Real Madrid suddenly launched an offensive for Diomande and quickly made a breakthrough. Initially, Madrid submitted a first offer of around €100 million including bonuses, which was rejected by Leipzig. However, Madrid did not back down, and their latest bid of €100 million plus €20 million in add-ons has accelerated the deal.

According to Romano, a Real Madrid delegation secretly traveled to Germany to meet with Diomande's representatives. His agent is the same as Vinícius Jr.'s, and Real Madrid has fully finalized contract details with the player, including a five-year deal until 2031.

Paris Saint-Germain was not willing to give up. According to Romano, PSG also took active steps on Saturday, trying to re-engage in negotiations with Leipzig.
