Goalkeeper Dinh Trieu bids farewell to Hai Phong after 5 years with the club

Goalkeeper Nguyen Dinh Trieu has officially parted ways with Hai Phong FC after five years of association, expressing his feelings in a heartfelt letter shared on his personal social media.

At the beginning of his message, Dinh Trieu admitted that it was difficult to say goodbye to the Port City team. The 1991-born goalkeeper said that the five-year period, though not too long, contained many memorable moments in his career.

Dinh Trieu said that the chants of "Hai Phong – Hai Phong", "Dinh Trieu – Dinh Trieu" from the stands still echo in his mind. According to the goalkeeper, Hai Phong is the place that helped him fulfill his dream of playing in the V-League, and also made his aspiration to wear the Vietnam national team jersey a reality.

Not only leaving a professional mark, Dinh Trieu also expressed his emotion at the affection that the fans of the Port City gave to him and his family. He said that on every street corner, he received wishes, smiles, and encouragement from the supporters, making Hai Phong a very special part of his heart.

Closing his letter, Dinh Trieu thanked the management, coaching staff, teammates, and especially the fans of Hai Phong FC for always being with him and supporting him throughout the journey.

"I wish Hai Phong FC will continue to develop and achieve even more success. I also send my best wishes to all the fans of the Port City. May everyone always keep the burning passion for Hai Phong FC in their hearts," Dinh Trieu wrote.

The farewell to Hai Phong FC closes a five-year journey full of milestones for Dinh Trieu at the Port City club, opening a new chapter in the career of the Vietnam national team goalkeeper.

According to some sources, the next destination for this goalkeeper is either PVF CAND or Truong Tuoi Dong Nai.
