Juventus has secured a deal with Paris Saint-Germain to return French forward Randal Kolo Muani to Turin, marking one of the most prominent transfers of the Serie A summer window.
According to sources from Italy and France, the two clubs have finalized all terms of the deal. Kolo Muani will join Juventus on loan with an obligation to buy, bringing the total transfer value to over €45 million. The 27-year-old striker is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days before officially signing the contract.
This deal closes months of prolonged negotiations between Juventus and PSG. Throughout the negotiations, the French international consistently stated that his top priority was to return to the "Old Lady," despite receiving interest from several other clubs in England and Europe.

Kolo Muani's determination was seen as a key factor in Juventus' success. After a season on loan away from Paris, the 1998-born striker repeatedly informed PSG that Turin was the only destination he desired. Despite approaches from many clubs, the forward refused to consider other projects while Juventus continued to pursue him.
Juventus' management viewed Kolo Muani as their top priority target in the summer transfer window. During his previous stint in Turin, he left a strong impression with his speed, intelligent movement, and versatility in attack.
Not only can he play as a center forward, but Kolo Muani also excels in the role of a supporting striker or winger. This flexibility provides Juventus with more tactical options during the team's rebuilding process.
On the other hand, PSG initially did not want to let the French striker go for a low fee. The Parisian club had spent up to €95 million to sign Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023, so they wanted to recover a significant portion of this massive investment.
Therefore, the negotiations focused on structuring a payment plan that suited PSG's financial requirements as well as current regulations. Juventus reportedly increased their offer several times before the two sides found common ground.
The final agreement allows PSG to receive over €45 million, while enabling Juventus to spread the cost over multiple phases. The final procedures, such as a medical and contract signing, are expected to be completed before the Turin club continues its preseason preparations for the new season.
Kolo Muani came through the ranks at Nantes before shining for Eintracht Frankfurt. In the Bundesliga, he quickly became one of the most dangerous strikers in the league thanks to his speed, technique, and impressive goal-scoring ability. Those outstanding performances convinced PSG to bring him back to France in 2023.
Now, after a turbulent period in Paris, Kolo Muani is set to reunite with Juventus with the expectation of becoming the spearhead of the attack, while also playing a key role in the ambition to bring the black-and-white striped team back to competing for major titles in Italy and Europe.
