Deserved 0 medals? Zhang Ben visited the controversial shrine before the Olympics! The worshippers committed many crimes against China

On August 14, Beijing time, a video of Tomokazu Zhangmoto, a Chinese table tennis player of Japan table tennis, visiting the "Dongxiang Shrine" before the Olympics sparked heated discussions among Chinese netizens and rushed to the first position of the hot search.

In the video, Tomokazu Zhang and former Japan table tennis player Kasumi Ishikawa met by chance and visited the "Togo Shrine" together before the Paris Olympics. But perhaps he didn't know exactly who this shrine was enshrined and what its historical significance was.

According to the information, Togo Shrine, enshrined by Japan Admiral Togo Heihachiro, is called the "God of War" by Japan. This person participated in the Russo-Japanese War (Lushun), the First Sino-Japanese War, and the Eight-Nation Alliance's war of aggression against China, and committed numerous crimes against China.

Although Tomokazu Zhang currently plays for Japan table tennis, considering that Zhang Benzhi and his parents are both from China, he can be regarded as having Chinese blood in his body. His behavior undoubtedly hurt the feelings of the Chinese people and made many Chinese netizens feel angry.

And Tomokazu Zhangmoto's wish to visit the "Togo Shrine" was not fulfilled in the end. In this Paris Olympics, Zhang Benzhihe wore three hats, but he failed to win a medal.

In the mixed doubles competition, his partner Hina Hayada was upset in the first round, while the men's singles was reversed by Fan Zhendong to stop in the top 4. In the men's team competition, Tomokazu Zhangmoto, as the main general, collapsed, and finally lost to Sweden and France in a row and only finished fourth. In this Olympic Games, Zhang Ben 0 medals, perhaps with the controversial act of visiting the shrine that he did before the Olympics, has been doomed as early as in the dark.
