The two parties will sign a five-year contract until 2029, with a one-year priority option to renew. Zirkze also became United's first signing of the summer.

According to previous reports, Zirkze's transfer fee is 42.5 million euros, and Manchester United will pay this fee in three instalments. Former club Bayern Munich will receive around €21 million in the transfer from Zirkze's move to Manchester United.

Born in May 2001, Zirkze is from Netherlands. He can also play as a second striker, standing 1.93 meters tall but with excellent foot skills. He played for many years at Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich but failed to live up to his talent. In August 2022, Zirkze joined Bologna for a transfer fee of 8.5 million euros.
