When fishing, Raj bought Mbemo! There are reports of dissatisfaction among the higher-ups regarding Amorim, with player conflicts affecting transfers.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the owner of Manchester United, has seen a noticeable decline in his reputation among fans, and a recent habitual action of his has sparked controversy. The 72-year-old former richest person in the UK has made significant layoffs at the club, claiming to cut costs, yet he arranged for CEO Omar Berrada and sporting director Jason Wilcox to fly to Iceland for a "fishing summit" with him.

For years, Raj has been accustomed to traveling and meeting with executives from INEOS, believing that this approach creates a relaxed atmosphere, helping to avoid the busyness of the office and allowing for easier identification of core issues. In fact, Berrada’s first day at Manchester United was spent skiing with Raj.

However, while Manchester United has cut many employee benefits, sending executives on trips raises eyebrows. It is said that Raj is an avid fisherman, particularly fond of the "fly fishing" technique that simulates insects landing on water. He has invested in farms around key rivers in Iceland, claiming it helps protect North Atlantic salmon, mainly to counter accusations that his INEOS chemical industry harms the environment.

Amidst the scenic landscapes of Iceland, Raj, Berrada, and Wilcox are fishing while planning the future development of Manchester United. The mobile signal there is intermittent, ensuring no one will disturb them as they make significant decisions.

Reportedly, they decided this week at a fishing spot in Iceland to bid £70 million for Mbemo, while also discussing the club's affairs in sports and business in depth.

According to "Competitive Network," Raj had suggested that head coach Amorim join them, but the 40-year-old Portuguese coach chose to focus entirely on team training. After a meeting with the coaching staff and players at Carrington on Friday morning, Amorim flew to Stockholm, Sweden, to prepare for Saturday's first friendly match.

The two top executives of Manchester United will also fly to Sweden to watch the match, although Raj may not attend, even though the team's new number 10, Cunha, will make his debut in this game. Compared to the rapid layoffs, the transfer activity of the Red Devils this summer is considered too slow, especially regarding the sale of high-salary redundant players.

To date, Manchester United has not sold any of the five players: Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho, Antony, and Malacia. They have been kept away from first-team training and are only allowed to start at 5 PM, after other teammates have finished for the day.

It is said that this is the club's strategy aimed at showing these players they have no future, pushing them to leave as soon as possible. However, not all executives support this approach; some disagree with Amorim's public conflict management with players, as these players have supporters within the club.

Additionally, some executives are concerned that this approach will inevitably lower the transfer value of the five players. Rather than openly tearing relationships apart, it would be better to ease tensions and prevent other teams from using this situation to drive prices down. Otherwise, as is the case now, potential buyers know the Red Devils must sell these players, leading to significant price reductions.

One of the benefits of public rupture is to clarify the club's stance, indicating that they strictly enforce the coach's standards. Amorim wants to keep only those players who fully support and execute his requirements. He would rather have a smaller squad, as the team will not participate in any European competitions next season for the first time in 11 years; around 25 players are more than sufficient.

To ensure internal peace within the team, Manchester United has appointed a new team manager. Acacio Valentim has taken office, and his responsibilities will cover all aspects of the locker room. Over the past two seasons, Valentim served in the same role at Braga in the Portuguese league and worked for 16 years at Porto. Initially serving as a public relations officer at Porto, he worked under Amorim's mentor, Mourinho, who was the head coach at the time.
