The Swedish international has signed a five-year deal with the Gunners, and he will now meet his new teammates in Asia for their pre-season tour.
The club confirmed that Gyokeres will don the iconic number 14 jersey, made famous by Thierry Henry.
The London giants are said to pay the Portuguese club a guaranteed €63.5 million, plus an additional €10 million in bonuses.
In Arsenal's official announcement, manager Mikel Arteta remarked: “We’re thrilled to welcome Viktor Gyokeres to the club.
His consistency in performance and availability has been remarkable, and his goal contributions are impressive."
In his initial interview with his new team, Gyokeres expressed:“Being part of this club and scoring in this kit with this badge in front of all the fans is something I look forward to. It will be an incredible experience."

Both Arsenal and Sportingwere engaged in prolonged discussions, with the transfer delayed due to disagreements over the deal's bonuses.
Sporting was reportedly eager for the add-ons to be performance-related, while Arsenal aimed for more ambitious targets.
There was also tension on Gyokeres' side after he did not report back for pre-season training to push for a move to North London.
Arsenal focused on the 27-year-old after initially pursuing RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, but made no headway beyond expressing interest.

Gyokeres transferred to Sporting from Coventry in July 2023 and netted an impressive 97 goals in 102 matches, aiding the club in winning consecutive Primeira Liga titles.
Interest in his talents surged following the last season, during which he scored 54 goals in 52 appearances.
Gyokeres has participated in 26 matches for Sweden since his debut in 2019, finding the net 15 times.
Arsenal will face Newcastle in the Singapore National Stadium on Sunday before concluding their tour with a match against Tottenham in Hong Kong on July 31st. Their first match of the new Premier League season is away at Manchester United on August 17th.
