Manchester United has faced another rejection from a striker candidate! La Jue inquired about Amorim's opinion, and Mi Shen might become one of the targets.

Despite Manchester United's interest, Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani has made it clear that he favors Juventus. Juventus has been in talks with Paris for weeks and has not finalized an agreement. The Ligue 1 champions aim to sell for more than £35 million, but Juventus is seeking another year on loan with a buy clause.

According to Italy's Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester United may intervene in the competition, but Olazio Akamando stated: "Juventus is working hard; although they have signed Jonathan David, Muani remains their top target, and the club is doing everything possible to keep him. Muani has been training with Paris Saint-Germain for the preseason, and Juventus hopes to propose a new loan arrangement, unlike last year's pure loan, this time it would include a buy option or obligation."

This Italian transfer market expert also revealed that Manchester United, which urgently needs a new striker, has inquired about Muani, but the latter has temporarily rejected this possibility. "Juventus and the player have reached a basic agreement, and the player wishes to facilitate the deal. As we understand, he has turned down Manchester United's invitation. At least at this stage, he wants to see if a return to Juventus is possible."

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated that Manchester United's management is "very convinced" they can sign a new striker in the last month of the summer transfer window. "Manchester United will actively seek opportunities to bring in a striker next week. They are confident about signing a new forward."

The club will discuss specific striker candidates with head coach Amorim this week and is aware that potential deals could become expensive. With Liverpool likely to sign Newcastle's Isak, the "Magpies," who could receive around £150 million in transfer fees, will enter the market to compete with Manchester United for a striker. RB Leipzig's Sesko is reportedly their top choice, while Aston Villa's Watkins and others from the Premier League could also be candidates.

Romano stated: "Next week will be crucial for Sesko's future; Newcastle is ready with contracts and will also engage with RB Leipzig. Newcastle is currently prepared to create significant transfer opportunities for this Slovenian forward. They will be very active next week."

Short on funds, Manchester United may be at a disadvantage regarding transfer fees, but Romano noted: "Manchester United is still discussing Sesko internally; this deal is expensive, so it's not easy. But don't forget the gentleman's agreement I mentioned— for some potential buyers that Sesko refers to as 'special clubs,' the fixed transfer fee could be between €70 million and €80 million, plus additional fees of €5 million to €10 million. This could be a significant factor."

Romano concluded: "Newcastle is planning vigorously, and Manchester United is also discussing the transfer of forwards and Sesko. Please pay attention to reports in the coming days; Newcastle will make a significant offer, and Manchester United will discuss again with the coaches involved in negotiations and the club's directors to see if an agreement can be reached."

British media "Offside Insight" reported that if they are unable to secure a striker from the Premier League or European football, Manchester United is considering looking towards the Saudi Arabian Professional League, with Al Hilal's Mitrovic also a potential candidate. Previously, Ivan Toney from Al Ittihad was also linked with a move to the Red Devils.

The Red Devils are focusing on signing players with Premier League experience this summer. The 30-year-old Mitrovic has played in the Premier League for Fulham and Newcastle, boasting extensive experience in English football and a good scoring rate. The Serbian striker scored 15 goals in his last season with Fulham and netted 40 and 28 goals for Al Hilal in the past two seasons. Manchester United hopes to sign Mitrovic for a transfer fee below £20 million, but he will need to significantly reduce his salary.
