Chelsea isn't short on cash, and they're set to spend €150 million to bring in three young talents, averaging just 21 years old, promising a bright future.

Last summer transfer window, many fans and media were mocking Chelsea for their chaotic signings, suggesting their first team needed a double-decker bus to fit all the players. Last season, Chelsea played in the Premier League and the Europa Conference League with two different lineups, achieving a fourth-place finish in the Premier League to qualify for the Champions League, and also winning the Conference League title. This summer, Chelsea continues to strengthen their squad and has clinched the 2025 Club World Cup championship, showcasing their wealth of talent. Now, Chelsea is prepared to spend €150 million to sign three major young talents, averaging just 21 years old, which signifies immediate impact as well as a promising future.

Chelsea has already secured the signing of Ajax's 19-year-old Dutch left-back Jorell Hato for a transfer fee of €43 million. He is versatile enough to play both left and central positions, making him an important player for the Blues' defense in the future. After acquiring Hato, Chelsea's primary targets now include two players: Leipzig's attacking midfielder Xavi Simons and Manchester United's winger Garnacho. The former is 22 years old, while the latter is 21, and with Hato included, the average age of the three players is under 21. Leipzig has set a price of €70 million for Xavi Simons, while Manchester United has priced Garnacho at £40 million, approximately €46 million. This means that Chelsea will need to sign Hato, Simons, and Garnachofor a total transfer fee of around €150 million.

It must be said that Chelsea excels in selling talent; Mudryk was sold at a high price to Arsenal, and now Felix is also being sold for a premium to Al Nassr. Chelsea has a knack for offloading players, which allows them to have the funds to make new signings. Xavi Simons can create healthy competition with Palmer, while Garnacho provides Chelsea with two options on the left wing, with Gittens and Garnacho. This strategy aims to utilize two separate squads in the Premier League and Champions League, helping players maintain their health and energy levels.
