Norwegian international winger from AS Roma has signed a four-year contract with FC Nordsjaelland.

FC Nordsjælland. confirmed the agreement on Monday and stated that Ola Solbakken has signed a four-year deal with the club.

"Ola is an exciting attacking player who has represented the Norwegian national team alongside players likeErling Haaland, Martin Odegaard, and Alexander Sorloth. His favored position is as a right forward, but he is also capable of playing various attacking roles."

"He possesses excellent physical attributes and will bring additional speed and depth to our play, both in established phases and to some extent during attacking transitions.", says FC Nordsjaelland's football director Alexander Riget on the club's website.

Solbakken has faced challenges in securing a spot in the starting eleven at Roma.For the last two seasons, he has been loaned to Olympiacos, Urawa Red Diamonds, and Empoli.

The 26-year-old Norwegian mentions that FC Nordsjælland was not the only club showing interest.

"I had numerous options available, but I was certain that joining FC Nordsjælland was the right decision for me, as I believe there is a great fit." says Solbakken to the FC Nordsjaelland website.
