Ten Hag Manchester United midfielder will be out for a month with an injury! Vanney promoted another man, known as Professor Red Devil

Toby Collier, who was once expected to make a breakthrough at Manchester United this season, has been injured and the British media expect him to be out for more than a month. The Manchester Evening News did not specify the details of the injury, only revealing that the Academy midfielder will be out of action for the next month.

Collier is a new addition to United's squad for injuries, with the likes of Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Mason Mount and Kobe Mayno all currently on the sidelines. It is worth mentioning that the 20-year-old England midfielder is one of Ten Hag's favourite players and his prospects could be clouded with the Dutchman out of class.

After Manchester United's FA Cup triumph last season, Ten Hag spoke live with Collier and relived his previous treatment of Meno. In pre-season, Collier began to be highly regarded and a new contract was signed, with Ten Hag personally present at the signing ceremony to express his appreciation.

Collier made his senior debut with the underperforming Casemiro at the start of the season, making three appearances so far, the last of which came against Porto in the Europa League.

Speaking to the club's official website, Collier said: "It's fantastic, I'm in a first-team environment, it's something I've always wanted to do. I'm now focused on working hard, trying to play well and trying to get into the team. I remember the first time I trained with the first team I was really excited and excited. He was a 17-year-old lad who did very well at Youth College, just like Jack Fletcher, Harry Armas and Ethan Wheatley. They've gained experience in training and to be in the squad in a game like this is a wonderful experience for them and helps them develop and even more."

Winger Jadon Sancho, who was loaned out by Ten Hag to the Blues, will be out of action via Premier League avoidance clause in the Manchester United clash with Chelsea, but Enzo Maresca will be back with three players, Palmer, Reece James and Wesley Fofana, none of whom played in the Carabao Cup defeat to Newcastle United. The Blues boss confirmed: "Except for Jayden [Sancho], who is sick, everyone else can play.
