As of 9 AM today (September 3, 2025), Sabalenka, Alcaraz, and Pegula secured victories to move into the semifinals, with Djokovic’s match currently airing live.

Sabalenka progressed to the semifinals by default as her opponent Van Uytvanck pulled out of the US Open quarterfinals because of a knee injury.

In another women’s quarterfinal, American Pegula defeated Krejcikova 6-3, 6-3 to advance smoothly into the semifinals.

In the men’s quarterfinals, Alcaraz swept Lehecka 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 to secure his spot in the semifinals.

Sabalenka is truly impressive, living up to her status as the defending US Open champion with strong performance. It’s very likely she will reach the final again and possibly defend her title successfully. Alcaraz, ranked world number two, is formidable; only Sinner seems capable of beating him, while others may struggle.
