In the second match, Wang Chuqin played against Matsushima Teruhiro and sadly lost 2-3.

In the first match, Liang Jingkun was narrowly defeated 2-3 by Harimoto Tomokazu.

The team event consists of five matches; currently, Japan leads China 2-0 and has match point. The third match is Lin Shidong versus Tsuzuka Hiroto, the fourth match is Wang Chuqin versus Harimoto Tomokazu, and the fifth is Liang Jingkun versus Matsushima Teruhiro.
