Jannik Sinner keeps proving why he is currently the most reliable player worldwide. On Saturday night in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Italian star defeated Carlos Alcaraz 6-2, 6-4 to successfully retain his Six Kings Slam title and receive a record $6 million prize — the largest sum ever awarded in a tennis match.
This is Sinner’s second consecutive championship at this prestigious exhibition tournament, which features six of the top players globally including Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Taylor Fritz, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and himself. Over just four days, with three wins and no sets lost, the 24-year-old collected prize money equal to half of what he earned in total throughout the entire 2025 ATP Tour.
The final between Sinner and Alcaraz took place in an electrifying atmosphere inside Riyadh’s indoor arena. The Italian player started with flawless form, almost without any weaknesses. Despite a first-serve rate of only 61%, Sinner lost just 8 points during his service games. Conversely, Alcaraz faced 10 break points and was broken three times in nine service games. Sinner’s speed, counterattacking skills, and precise shots from every corner of the court nearly "suffocated" his opponent.
