On October 25th local time, during the 2025 ATP 500 Vienna Open semifinals, top seed Sinner defeated Deminor 6-3, 6-4, maintaining a perfect 12-0 record against him. This marks the Italian’s 8th final appearance this season and the 31st in his professional career.
"Getting to the final here is tough, so I’m really pleased. I tried to deliver some great tennis and served my best. The first set was very intense, so I’m glad to have won in straight sets today. He (Deminor) changed his tactics a bit, but I was prepared for that."
Speaking about Deminor’s performance, Sinner praised him: "I don’t want to say much. He knows what to do, how to put pressure on me, and when your serve isn’t working well, you have to fight for every point. He might play very directly and has changed many small details."
Sinner will face second seed Zverev for the title, who defeated fourth seed Musetti 6-4, 7-5, earning his 300th hard-court victory. This will be Zverev’s fourth final this season and the 40th in his career on the tour.
