At just 18 years old, Andreyeva secured her fourth WTA Tour title and her first at the WTA 500 level. After the match, she humorously credited her team at the trophy ceremony: "As for the credit, I think the team comes second since I was the one sweating and training hard!" She then sincerely thanked her team and mother for their support, praising herself for being "brave enough" at crucial moments.
For Mboko, this marked her first loss in three tour finals appearances, but her impressive performance this week boosted her world ranking to 16th, a personal best. Mboko eliminated second seed and defending champion Keys in the quarterfinals, showing strong form at the start of the year, and is set to make her Australian Open debut next.
