Latest Australian Open singles title odds: Sinner and Alcaraz lead the men, Sabalenka stands out in the women’s field!

The much-awaited Australian Open began today, and the number one seeds in men’s and women’s singles, Alcaraz and Sabalenka, both passed their opening matches successfully. At the same time, the latest championship odds for this year’s event have been unveiled, as follows:

Men’s singles

Sinner: 1 to 1.9

Alcaraz: 1 to 2.62

The two young stars continue to lead with a strong advantage, indicating that bookmakers see the title race mainly between these two. Alcaraz, who has never reached the Australian Open semifinals before, carries considerable pressure on his shoulders. It remains to be seen if he can rise to the occasion. The good news is that he is not in the same quarter as Djokovic, meaning he won’t face either Sinner or Djokovic before the final.

Djokovic: 1 to 13

The ten-time champion remains uniquely positioned just behind the top two but ahead of the rest. In a pre-tournament press conference, Djokovic boosted his confidence, stating that if he is fully prepared in all aspects, he can beat any top player, especially on the favored Melbourne courts.

Zverev: 1 to 23

Medvedev: 1 to 26

These two outstanding representatives of the post-95 generation hold a slight edge over others. Both have finished as runners-up at hardcourt Grand Slams at least twice and were finalists in the last two editions. One is determined to justify his world No. 3 ranking over recent years, while the other, fresh off a title in the season’s first week, aims to make a mark again in majors. Can they apply enough pressure on the top three?

Shelton/Fritz: 1 to 41

De Minaur/Aliassime: 1 to 51

Bublik/Fonseca: 1 to 67

Musetti/Sakkari: 1 to 81

Rublev/Ruud/Hurkacz/Menchik/Paolo/Korda: 1 to 101

Further down the list are two American players who have reached at least two hardcourt Grand Slam semifinals, along with the Australian rising star and the Canadian dark horse, both achieving career-high rankings in the past year. Of course, last year’s successful Bublik and Fonseca follow closely behind. After them come two strong single-handed players, while Korda, the only player on the odds list without a seeding, has already been eliminated.

Women’s singles

Sabalenka: 1 to 2.87

On the women’s side, last year’s runner-up and current hardcourt queen Sabalenka clearly stands out, while the rest of the field is closely packed with little gap between them.

Swiatek: 1 to 6

Gauff: 1 to 8

Rybakina: 1 to 9

Anisimova: 1 to 10

These four can be considered in the same tier, each having won or finished runner-up in major events last season, showing relatively consistent performance. The Polish player, just one step away from a career Grand Slam, had an average showing in the United Cup but still outranks Gauff in the odds.

Andreescu: 1 to 15

Keys/Osaka: 1 to 21

Last year’s champion as well as the 2019 and 2021 winners rank below the new popular Russian generation in the odds, though they definitely have the ability to defeat any opponent.

Also featured in the odds list are:

Kostyuk: 1 to 26

Muskova/Mboko/Bencic: 1 to 34

Pegula: 1 to 41

Barty: 1 to 51
