CCTV-5 has announced the live broadcast plan for the Table Tennis Asian Cup tomorrow (2026.2.4), with players including Wang Chuqin, Sun Yingsha, Wang Manyu, and Lin Shidong competing.
From the broadcast schedule above, we can see:
Tomorrow, 12 Chinese players will compete, but CCTV-5 will only show six matches live; the remaining six matches will be available through paid streaming on Migu Video.
The daytime matches featuring Sun Yingsha, Lin Shidong, and Wang Yidi will be broadcast live for free on CCTV-5+ and the CCTV app. Their opponents seem quite weak, so I believe they will easily defeat them.
The evening matches with Wang Chuqin, Wang Manyu, and Chen Yuanyu will be shown live on CCTV-5 and the CCTV app. After checking their opponents, they also appear to be less strong. They should all be able to win—what do you think?
My personal prediction is that the men’s and women’s singles champions at the Asian Cup will both come from the Chinese table tennis team. What are your thoughts?
