In the early hours of February 6th Beijing time, the WTA250 Cluj-Napoca tournament continued with the women's singles quarterfinals. Following Wang Xinyu's exit, Chinese player Yuan Yue failed to capitalize on winning the opening set and a match point on serve, eventually being overturned 6-4, 0-6, 5-7 by Ukrainian qualifier Skrynnikova, thus bowing out in the quarterfinals.

After taking the first set, Yuan Yue's performance sharply declined, losing six straight games and getting bageled in the second set. In the deciding set, she fell behind 1-3 but managed to break twice to take the lead and even held a match point on her serve. However, she lost three consecutive games at the crucial stage and was defeated. Skrynnikova will face third seed Kostyia in the semifinals; top seed Raducanu advanced to the last four with a 6-0, 6-4 win over qualifier Khvalynska, and will meet Olijnikova, who defeated Wang Xinyu to reach her first WTA semifinal.
Although Wang Xinyu also exited in the women's singles quarterfinals, she and her partner Zheng Saisai reached the women's doubles final by beating Christian and Ruse 6-3, 2-6, 10-5 in the semifinals. In the final, they will face the third-seeded duo of Rakhimova and Tomova.
