CCTV-5 and the official streaming platform are airing the men's 1000m short track speed skating heats at the Milan Winter Olympics, featuring our Olympic athletes Liu Shaoang, Lim Hyojun, and Sun Long.

The preliminary rounds consist of eight groups, with the top two in each group plus the four best third-place times moving on to the quarterfinals.

Our Chinese delegation has entered Liu Shaoang, Lim Hyojun, and Sun Long in the competition. If all goes as expected, they should all win their races and advance to the quarterfinals. Of course, our main rivals include teams from South Korea, Canada, and the Netherlands. We look forward to their outstanding performances.
