Following several days of intense matches, the seeded players at the Indian Wells Masters have all completed their initial rounds. The top four seeds—Alcaraz, Sinner, Djokovic, and Zverev—have all progressed smoothly, whereas within the top 16 seeds, only Musetti and Khachanov have exited the tournament. Thus, the men's singles third round matches in the lower half will commence fully tomorrow, with the complete lineup as follows:
Fucsovics vs. Fils
Diallo vs. Aliassime
In these two matchups, the Black players are expected to hold a dominant advantage. Although the two former players have been in decent form recently, facing the higher-ranked latter players, they are unlikely to cause any significant upset.

Cobolli vs. Tiafoe
This is a replay of last week's Acapulco final. Big Foe returns to his home turf—can he achieve a satisfying revenge? On the other hand, Cobolli's performances in major tournaments, aside from his Wimbledon quarterfinal last year, lack convincing results. Despite repeatedly reaching new ranking heights, can he deliver a duet against his opponent?
Brandon Nakashima vs. Zverev
Comparatively, this event is one of Zverev's weaker hard-court Masters performances, but his advancement should not be in serious doubt. What we need to observe is whether Zverev will adjust his playing style, as he has recently acknowledged in interviews that to further elevate his game, he needs to play more proactively. He is currently striving towards this direction.

Shelton vs. L. Chan
Fognina vs. Mensik
Fonseca vs. Paul
Shapovalov vs. Sinner
These four matches showcase exceptional talent and brilliant skill. Comparatively, Sinner and Shelton could be considered the "older" players; Mensik, L. Chan, and Fonseca—the post-00s generation—have infused youthful energy across the tour. Apart from Sinner who might have a slightly greater chance of winning, the outcomes of the other matches remain uncertain. However, Sinner also dropped a set against Shapovalov at this year's Australian Open. This clash between two players with dazzling styles is highly anticipated.
L. Chan will first play a doubles match with Medvedev before switching to singles. Fognina vs. Mensik is the closest-ranked encounter; the latter is about to embark on his Miami title defense journey, so securing some points beforehand is essential.

The matchups in the upper half are:
Alcaraz vs. Lindeknech
Vashiro vs. Ruud
Bublik vs. Hijikata
Norrie vs. de Minaur

Djokovic vs. Kovacevic
Cerundolo vs. Draper
Medvedev vs. Baez
Mikkelsen vs. Fritz(Source: Tennis Home, Author: Luo Cheng Qi Ye)
