You Xiaodi clinched the W100 Lu'an title, securing the highest-level singles championship of her career!

On April 5th, the final showdown of the 2026 Jin'an International Tennis Open W100—the singles final—concluded at the Nanshan Anhui Provincial Small Ball Training Base. Chinese player You Xiaodi faced Lan Xie Lie in a peak duel. After a grueling three-hour and eight-minute battle featuring numerous exchanges, You Xiaodi ultimately held her nerve, defeating her opponent 6-4, 6-7(2), 6-4 to capture the highest-level singles title of her career, successfully returning her world ranking to the top 200.

As the highest-level event on the ITF Women's Tour, this edition of the Jin'an International Tennis Open attracted 76 players from 16 countries and regions, featuring 70 thrilling matches. You Xiaodi was in top form throughout the tournament, advancing by overcoming all obstacles, defeating players such as Tara Rude, Sa Wang Kai, Dart, and Wang Xiyu to smoothly reach the final. Her final opponent, Lan Xie Lie, emerged from the qualifying rounds, winning six consecutive matches with steady performances to become the biggest dark horse of the event.

The final commenced promptly at 10 a.m. From the outset of the first set, both sides engaged in intense baseline exchanges. You Xiaodi relied on patient defense and precise multi-shot transitions to contend with her opponent, employing highly targeted placement control. Through the first eight games, both players held their serves, leveling the score at 4-4. In the crucial tenth game, You Xiaodi seized an opportunity, using a precise slice to force her opponent to scramble, completing a key break to ultimately take the first set 6-4.

The second set saw dramatic shifts in momentum. You Xiaodi started with blazing momentum, consecutively breaking serve to quickly establish a 4-0 lead. However, Lan Xie Lie did not give up, promptly elevating her offensive quality and accelerating her shot tempo, repeatedly scoring forehand winners while relying on precise serve winners to gradually narrow the gap, winning four straight games to level the score at 4-4. Thereafter, both players solidly held their serves, pushing the match into a tie-break. Lan Xie Lie controlled the rhythm with steadier play, winning the tie-break 7-2 to claim the set and tie the overall match score at 1-1.

In the deciding set, You Xiaodi quickly adjusted her mindset and regrouped. Facing an unfavorable 0-2 deficit, she promptly altered her tactics, enhancing serve spin and placement variation, achieving breaks in the third and seventh games to successfully reverse the score to 4-3. Subsequently, neither player gave their opponent another break opportunity. As Lan Xie Lie's return sailed wide, You Xiaodi sealed the victory 6-4, winning the match 2-1 overall and successfully lifting the championship trophy.

After the match, Shen Hui, Deputy Director of the Jin'an District People's Congress Standing Committee in Lu'an City, and Zhang Xin, Director of the Jin'an District Sports Bureau in Lu'an City, presented the trophy, award plate, and mascot to the champion and runner-up respectively, extending sincere congratulations to both players. The audience rose in applause, offering their most genuine respect and blessings for their outstanding performances, immersing the venue in a joyous celebratory atmosphere.

In her post-match interview, You Xiaodi could hardly contain her excitement: "I'm very happy to win this significant championship in Jin'an. The match was exceptionally intense; every point was fought with full effort. Winning was very difficult, and I thank the staff for their attentive service and the fans for their full support." Despite narrowly missing the title, Lan Xie Lie still gave high praise for the event: "I spent an unforgettable week in Jin'an. The venue facilities here are professional and complete, the tournament services are meticulous and thorough, and the staff are very friendly. I hope to return to Jin'an to compete next year."

Thus, the eight-day 2026 Jin'an International Tennis Open W100 event concluded successfully. The successful hosting of this tournament received unanimous praise from participating athletes both domestic and international, laying a solid foundation for subsequent events. It is reported that follow-up ITF international tennis series events will commence successively from April 26th, continuing to present high-level tennis spectacles for enthusiasts.
