Musetti beat De Minaur to advance, and will face Alcaraz in the final
In the semi-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters, Musetti staged a brilliant comeback, narrowly beating De Minaur in a three-set battle to successfully advance to his first ATP1000 Masters final.
On the day of the match, Musetti struggled as soon as the match started in wet conditions in Monte Carlo. In the first set, he was in poor form, while De Minaur played solidly and Musetti lost the first set 1-6.

The win gave Musetti a 2-1 lead in the head-to-head record against De Minaur.
Musetti has been very impressive all the way in this tournament. He defeated three-time champion Tsitsipas in the quarter-finals to reach the semifinals at ATP1000 Masters level for the first time. Now, he is just one step away from winning his first Masters title.
