The German national team started off well ahead of their match against the Vietnam women's volleyball team.

In their opening match at the Women's Volleyball World Championship (WCH2025), the German team impressively defeated Kenya with a convincing 3-0 scoreline (25-22, 25-8, 25-20), marking a strong start in the group that includes Vietnam and Poland.

The first set was full of excitement as both teams continuously chased the score. Germany and Kenya traded points in a closely fought battle, with neither side able to establish a large lead. However, the German women's composure shone through at the right moment, allowing them to close the set with a narrow 25-22 win.
