The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship (FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship) is the most prestigious tournament at the national team level, taking place from August 22 to September 7 in four cities: Bangkok, Chiangmai, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Phuket in Thailand. The tournament features 32 top teams divided into 8 groups as follows:

• Group G: Vietnam, Poland, Kenya, Germany
• Group H: Japan, Serbia (defending champion), Ukraine, Cameroon

The 2025 World Championship marks a historic moment for Vietnamese women's volleyball with their first-ever participation in this prestigious event. Coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt's team earned their ticket to Thailand by finishing in the top 4 at the 2023 Asian Championship.

The reigning world champion is Serbia, who defeated Brazil 3-0 in 2022. Serbia's star player Tijana Bošković is the current MVP of the tournament.
