Brazil seemed to regain their spirit and played much better, especially when they achieved three consecutive successful blocks to take a 12-9 lead. Riding that momentum, Brazil scored several crucial points and won the set 25-15, narrowing the set gap to 1-2.
The fourth set continued to be a spectacular display from both teams as Brazil quickly took the lead, but France responded well to keep the score close. Nevertheless, Brazil demonstrated excellent attacking coordination in key moments and gained a significant advantage. Their strong blocking continued to shine, helping them to win 25-17 and level the match at 2-2.
The tight contest returned in set 5 with the score tied at 5-5 after about 5 minutes of play. Stars like Gabi and Bergmann kept shining and earned important points for Brazil. Meanwhile, France’s excellent blocking prevented the gap from widening. Still, the Brazilian women showed superior quality and won the set 15-13, clinching the match 3-2 overall.
