She is a key player in the Vietnam women's volleyball team’s tactics despite not being the main point scorer. After two games against Germany and Poland, she remarkably surpassed many stars from Europe, Brazil, the USA, and Japan to earn a major honor.

Setter Lâm Oanh ranks among the top 13 at the Women's Volleyball World Championship

According to Volleyball World statistics, Lâm Oanh secured the 13th position among the best setters at the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship. Across two matches against Poland and Germany, she executed a total of 167 sets, including 53 excellent sets, 111 others that reached teammates, and only 3 errors. This 90s-born player achieved a setting success rate of 31.74%.

Although she is not the team's main attacker, Lâm Oanh significantly impacts the performance of Vietnam's women's volleyball team. Her sets largely determine the scoring opportunities for Thanh Thúy, Như Quỳnh, Kiều Trinh, and the middle blockers.
