Coach Tuấn Kiệt acknowledged that the Vietnamese women's volleyball team was rightfully defeated by Kenya in their final match at the 2025 World Championship.

Following the Vietnamese women's volleyball team's 0-3 loss to Kenya, a team with 10 African championships, in the last group stage match of the 2025 World Championship on August 27, Coach Tuấn Kiệt told the press: "The unfortunate thing for the Vietnamese women's volleyball team in the last three matches is that today, in the most important game, the entire team was not themselves and did not play to their full ability."
