The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship (FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship) is the most prestigious international volleyball competition for national teams, held from August 22 to September 7 across four cities: Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Phuket in Thailand. The tournament features 32 top teams divided into 8 pools as follows:

  • Pool A: Thailand (host), Netherlands, Sweden, Egypt
  • Pool B: Italy, Belgium, Cuba, Slovakia
  • Pool C: Brazil (defending runner-up), Puerto Rico, France, Greece
  • Pool D: USA, Czech Republic, Argentina, Slovenia
  • Pool E: Turkey, Canada, Bulgaria, Spain
  • Pool F: China, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico
  • Pool G: Vietnam, Poland, Kenya, Germany
  • Pool H: Japan, Serbia (defending champion), Ukraine, Cameroon

The 2025 World Championship marks a historic milestone for Vietnamese women's volleyball with their first-ever participation in this prestigious event. Coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt's team qualified for Thailand by finishing in the top 4 at the 2023 Asian Championship.

The current World Champion is Serbia, who won 3-0 against Brazil in 2022. Serbia's star player Tijana Boskovic is the reigning MVP of the tournament.
