Gunma Green Wings have two important matches in the Japanese V.League on December 6 and 7 against Himeji Victorina, meaning they can likely only allow Thanh Thúy to return to Vietnam from December 8. This implies Thanh Thúy will have merely two days to train and readjust with the team before beginning the quest to upgrade their medal standing.
This will impact Coach Tuấn Kiệt’s training and preparation plans for the Vietnamese women’s volleyball team ahead of the 2025 SEA Games.
According to Webthethao (Vietnam Volleyball), the Vietnam Volleyball Federation is currently rushing negotiations with Gunma to secure the most favorable conditions for the 28-year-old outside hitter.

Moreover, Bình Điền Long An—the current runner-up of the national league and recent second place in the 2025 AVC Champions League—has qualified for the 2025 Women’s Club World Championship in December.
