VTV Bình Điền Long An Club secured a vital win at the 2025 Vĩnh Long Open Volleyball Tournament.
VTV Bình Điền Long An earned their first victory at the 2025 Vĩnh Long Open by overcoming the Vĩnh Long women's team 3-2, setting a positive psychological tone before the upcoming third-place match. After two opening losses, Coach Trịnh Nguyễn Hoàng Huy’s players entered the final group round with strong resolve, quickly establishing an advantage through clear gameplay, wing attacks, and efficient fast-paced coordination.
However, after taking a 2-0 lead, the team allowed Vĩnh Long to rally back and level the score at 2-2. In the decisive set, despite trailing 0-4, VTV Bình Điền Long An managed to regroup and showed great determination to win 15-11, concluding the match with a 3-2 result.

This victory not only brought joy after a challenging series of matches but also increased the team’s confidence ahead of the third-place playoff — again facing Vĩnh Long. The third-place match will take place at 3:30 PM today (September 26).
This year, VTV Bình Điền Long An competed with a youthful squad, missing several key players such as Kim Thoa, Khánh Đang, Trà My, and Như Anh. In their opening game, they lost 0-3 to NXLED Chameleons (Philippines), but libero Thảo Nguyên stood out when trying the outside hitter position. In the next match against TP.HCM, the team’s lack of experience caused many mistakes, resulting in another 0-3 loss.
The 2025 Vĩnh Long Open Volleyball Tournament was held from September 22 to 26 with four women’s teams: Vĩnh Long, TP.HCM, VTV Bình Điền Long An, and NXLED. This event offered a valuable opportunity for VTV Bình Điền Long An’s young players to gain experience, strengthen their competitive mindset, and prepare for the long journey ahead.
After returning from the SEALECT Cup in Thailand, Coach Ngọc Hoa did not participate in the 2025 Vĩnh Long Open Volleyball Tournament due to commitments preparing for the second phase of the National Championship.
