2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship Schedule - Semifinals

The 2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship is hosted in the cities of Pasay and Quezon, Philippines from September 12 to 28, featuring top national teams divided into 8 groups as follows:

• Group A: Philippines (host), Iran, Egypt, Tunisia
• Group B: Poland (defending runner-up), Netherlands, Qatar, Romania
• Group C: France, Argentina, Finland, South Korea
• Group D: USA, Cuba, Portugal, Colombia
• Group E: Slovenia, Germany, Bulgaria, Chile
• Group F: Italy (defending champion), Belgium, Ukraine, Algeria
• Group G: Japan, Canada, Turkey, Libya
• Group H: Brazil, Czech Republic, Serbia, China

Teams will compete in a single round-robin format (3-0, 3-1 wins earn 3 points, 3-2 wins earn 2 points, 2-3 losses earn 1 point). The top two teams from each group will advance to the round of 16 knockout stage to determine the champion.

Asia is represented by the host Philippines, Iran, Qatar, South Korea, Japan, and China; notably, this is the first time the Philippines participates in the world’s premier national volleyball competition.

The reigning World Championship titleholder is Italy, who won against Poland three years ago.
