2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship Schedule - Semifinals

The 2025 Men's Volleyball World Championship is held in two cities, Pasay and Quezon, Philippines, from 12/9 to 28/9, featuring top national teams divided into 8 pools as follows:

• Pool A: Philippines (host), Iran, Egypt, Tunisia
• Pool B: Poland (defending runner-up), Netherlands, Qatar, Romania
• Pool C: France, Argentina, Finland, South Korea
• Pool D: USA, Cuba, Portugal, Colombia
• Pool E: Slovenia, Germany, Bulgaria, Chile
• Pool F: Italy (defending champion), Belgium, Ukraine, Algeria
• Pool G: Japan, Canada, Turkey, Libya
• Pool H: Brazil, Czech Republic, Serbia, China

Teams will play a single round-robin for points (winning 3-0 or 3-1 earns 3 points, winning 3-2 earns 2 points, losing 2-3 earns 1 point). The top two teams from each pool advance to the round of 16 knockout stage to determine the champion.

Asia is represented by the host Philippines, Iran, Qatar, South Korea, Japan, and China, with this being the first time Philippines participates in the most prestigious international volleyball tournament at the national team level.

The current World Championship titleholder is Italy, who defeated Poland three years ago.
