Vietnamese female volleyball hero with higher efficiency than Bích Tuyền receives a prestigious honor at age 26

Middle blocker Phạm Thị Hiền promoted from lieutenant to senior lieutenant
Before the second phase of the national championship, Phạm Thị Hiền received the happy news of her promotion from Lieutenant to Senior Lieutenant in the professional military. This is a timely acknowledgment of her tireless efforts and significant contributions to the Thông Tin Đông Bắc women's volleyball club over the past time.
Although only 1.72 meters tall, Phạm Thị Hiền, born in 1999, has been the most stable and outstanding middle blocker of the Thông Tin Đông Bắc club for many years. She is also among the middle blockers given the chance by coach Tuấn Kiệt to represent the national team.
At the 2025 Hoa Lư Bình Điền Cup, Phạm Thị Hiền achieved a record by scoring a total of 59 points, with an average attack efficiency of 63.45%, higher than Bích Tuyền (46.3%).
Phạm Thị Hiền (number 18), despite being only 1.72 meters tall, scored 7 points and acted as the hero, helping the Vietnamese women's volleyball team come back to defeat South Korea 3-2 in their opening match at the 2023 Asian Women's Volleyball Championship.
The army volleyball star made 16 successful blocks and 5 direct service points at the Hoa Lư Bình Điền Cup. In the final against LPBank Ninh Bình, she scored 16 points including 4 successful blocks and 3 direct service points, achieving an attack efficiency of 69.2%. These are extremely impressive statistics.
Born and raised in Hải Dương (former province), Phạm Thị Hiền started volleyball quite late compared to many professional athletes. It was not until she was 15 years old, an age considered late for formal training, that she officially began her professional volleyball path.
Phạm Thị Hiền always considers the legend Ngọc Hoa as a major source of inspiration. She frequently observes, learns from her senior, and continuously sharpens her skills to perfect herself.
