Set 1: Khanh Hoa 25-16 Da Nang
Sanest Khanh Hoa started the match with very effective serves from foreign player Pereyra. The defending runner-up displayed a versatile style; not only Pereyra but also Van Tien, Phuc Loc, and Ngoc Hieu scored well.
This was the key factor that allowed Khanh Hoa to regain the lead even after Da Nang caught up, thanks to Indonesian hitter Agil Anggara. Da Nang's serving and first touch were problematic, giving Khanh Hoa the chance to steadily widen the gap.
The set ended with a play by Quang Doan, and Sanest Khanh Hoa convincingly won set 1 to take a 1-0 lead.
Set 2: Khanh Hoa 19-25 Da Nang
Da Nang made a strong comeback in set 2. Both teams were evenly matched early on, but Da Nang’s offense, led by Anggara, Minh Hieu, and Ngoc Tri, surged ahead to extend their lead.
On Sanest Khanh Hoa's side, the setter had an unstable set; the defending runner-up’s plays unexpectedly fell apart compared to set 1. Despite efforts to close the gap in the final points, it wasn’t enough for coach Ngo Van Kieu’s team. Da Nang secured an important win to level the match at 1-1.
Set 3: Khanh Hoa 25-15 Da Nang
Sanest Khanh Hoa regained their usual control against Da Nang in the pivotal third set. Foreign player Pereyra continued to demonstrate his value with smart plays, greatly helping the defending runner-up build a safe lead from mid-set. Khanh Hoa’s strong blocking was also a key difference in this match.
Da Nang was nearly helpless in this set and had to watch Khanh Hoa charge ahead to lead 2-1.
Set 4: Khanh Hoa 25-22 Da Nang
Once again, foreign player Pereyra of Sanest Khanh Hoa made a significant impact. After a less impressive performance against The Cong, Pereyra found his rhythm and, alongside Duong Van Tien, strengthened the defending runner-up’s offense.
Setter Anh Tuan also played well in the crucial fourth set, helping Khanh Hoa maintain their lead over Da Nang consistently.
Minh Hieu and teammates’ efforts only narrowed the gap against Sanest Khanh Hoa. Da Nang’s chance to enter the top 4 is gone; the battle for this spot is now between Khanh Hoa and host LPB Ninh Binh.
Final result, Sanest Khanh Hoa defeated Da Nang 3-1 (25-16; 19-25; 25-15; 25-22).
