Today (10/10) marks the final day of the group stage in the 2025 National Volleyball Championship with four matches scheduled. The day starts at 12:00 PM with Duc Giang Chemicals facing VTV Bình Điền Long An in the women's group. Although the outcome no longer affects semifinal qualification, the match holds significant morale value for Duc Giang Chemicals, who are seeking a win to recover from a disappointing season.
Next, at 2:30 PM, Ho Chi Minh City Police will face Bien Phong in what is considered the “early final” of the men's group, as both teams are strong contenders for the championship. At 5:30 PM, LPB Ninh Binh (women) will host Ho Chi Minh City without Bich Tuyen, and the group stage concludes with the men's match between Tay Ninh and LPB Ninh Binh at 8:00 PM. All teams aim to secure positive results to build momentum before entering the knockout phase.
Phase 2 of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship will take place from October 7 to 16 in Ninh Binh, featuring 8 men's and 8 women's teams. This decisive stage will determine the champion and select Vietnam’s representative for the 2026 Asian Club Championship – AVC Champions League. Conversely, the team finishing last will be relegated to the A division in 2026.
The competition format remains the same as last season, with teams playing a single round-robin to accumulate points, the top 4 advancing to the semifinals, and the remaining 4 entering the relegation round.
In phase 1, teams completed 5 group matches. Therefore, in phase 2, each team will play only 2 group matches before moving on to the finals, all hosted centrally in Ninh Binh.
