The XMLS Thanh Hóa volleyball team secured their place in the league by defeating Geleximco Hưng Yên at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, highlighted by Đoàn Thị Xuân’s outstanding performance.

The 3-2 victory over Geleximco Hưng Yên officially confirmed XMLS Thanh Hóa’s survival in the 2025 Vietnamese National Volleyball Championship. With three wins and seven points, coach Bùi Huy Sơn’s squad achieved their goal of staying in the top division.

The match was tense, true to the nature of a "relegation final." XMLS Thanh Hóa started powerfully, winning the first two sets 27-25 each, thanks to the standout performances of Hardeman, Hoàng Thị Thảo, and Đoàn Thị Xuân. However, Geleximco Hưng Yên did not give up, bouncing back to win the next two sets 25-19 and 25-21, pushing the match into a decisive final set.
