Set 1: The Cong 25-21 HCMC Police
Both teams created an exciting set with a tense and closely fought battle throughout. The Cong Tan Cang played better, building a lead thanks to Rivan Nurmulki's brilliance, but the soldier team's foot faults allowed Ho Chi Minh City Police to narrow the gap.
Fortunately, coach Thai Anh Van's players managed to wake up in time to maintain their advantage and take a 1-0 lead in the second semifinal match.
Set 2: The Cong 25-23 HCMC Police
The Cong Tan Cang gained an early edge with quick plays between Cong Duc and Manh Tai. Although the soldier team didn’t have a huge scoring run, they showed great resilience by consistently holding the lead against pressure from Ho Chi Minh City Police.
Rivan Nurmulki continued to demonstrate his class, and when the HCMC Police blockers tried to contain him, other players like Trung Thanh and Thanh Tung stepped up. The win in set 2 was well deserved for the soldier team.
Set 3: The Cong 21-25 HCMC Police
The Cong Tan Cang unexpectedly dropped their level early in set 3, giving Ho Chi Minh City Police a strong start. As they were closing the gap hoping to end the semifinal in three sets, The Cong received bad news when captain Van Nam was injured after a landing and could not continue playing.
