The women's semifinal matches of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship have concluded with some truly surprising results.
On the evening of October 13th, spectators in Ninh Binh witnessed an exciting women's semifinal clash between Thong Tin - Dong Bac and LPB Ninh Binh at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship.
With strong support from the home crowd, LPB Ninh Binh impressively defeated their opponents 3-1 (25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-15).
Although the opponents applied pressure at certain moments, the home team maintained control, effectively utilizing wing attacks and solid blocking to secure the overall victory.
This marks the second time in history that the ancient capital's team has reached the National Championship final, demonstrating significant progress in recent seasons.
On the other side, Thong Tin - Dong Bac, one of Vietnam's most traditional clubs, missed the final again despite their determined efforts throughout the tournament. After the match, leaders from both teams met in person to encourage the players and congratulate Ninh Binh on securing their spot in the final.
The opponent for Coach Thai Thanh Tung’s team in the final will be VTV Binh Dien Long An.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, VTV Binh Dien Long An showcased the caliber of the reigning champions by defeating the Bank of Industry and Trade team 3-1. The consistent performance of key attackers Kim Thanh, Lan Vy, and Roni Jones-Perry allowed Long An to fully control the match's pace.
This is also the first time Head Coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa has led the team to the final in her role as head coach. After guiding Long An to the 2024 championship, she continues to prove her leadership by helping the team secure a spot in the final of the 2025 season.
