Determining the final matchups of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship

The men's and women's final matches of this year's National Volleyball Championship are expected to be fiercely competitive, featuring the top clubs in Vietnam.

The 2025 National Volleyball Championship is approaching its conclusion. After thrilling matches, the four strongest teams for both the men's and women's finals have officially been revealed.

In the women's category, VTV Bình Điền Long An was the first team to secure a spot in the final after a 3-1 victory over VietinBank. Although it seemed like a tough match for the defending champions, VTV Bình Điền Long An delivered an outstanding performance: diverse, fast-paced attacks and exceptional defensive plays.

Without Trần Thị Thanh Thúy and Phan Khánh Vy in the lineup, familiar names like Nguyễn Khánh Đang, Võ Thị Kim Thoa, and especially Đặng Thị Kim Thanh still helped the defending champions reach the final for the second consecutive year.

Their opponent, coached by Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Hoa, LPB Ninh Bình secured their place after the host team surprisingly defeated Thông tin - Đông Bắc in the second semifinal held today, October 13. Despite the absence of Nguyễn Thị Bích Tuyền, players like Đinh Thị Thúy, Lưu Thị Huệ, Lê Thanh Thúy, and Miroslava Paskova performed excellently, completely overpowering Irina Voronkova and Hoàng Thị Kiều Trinh on the opposing side.

Meanwhile, in the men's category, Biên Phòng confirmed their strength by reaching the final for the third consecutive year after a convincing 3-1 win over LPB Ninh Bình. Key players who are both club pillars and national team mainstays like Nguyễn Ngọc Thuân, Đinh Văn Duy, Trần Duy Tuyến, and Phạm Văn Hiệp are making Biên Phòng an unbeatable team.

In the decisive match of the season, Biên Phòng will face their long-time rival Thể Công Tân Cảng. Coach Thái Anh Văn's team recently defeated Công an TPHCM in just three sets; however, they suffered a major setback as their captain Nguyễn Văn Nam sustained a serious injury.

The men's final between Biên Phòng and Thể Công Tân Cảng will start at 8:00 PM on October 15, while the women's final between VTV Bình Điền Long An and LPB Ninh Bình will take place the following day.
