Although newly promoted, Hanoi is certainly setting ambitious goals for the National Volleyball Championship this year with significant changes in their lineup.
The Hanoi women's volleyball team is entering a crucial preparation phase for the new season, officially training under the leadership of new head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet. According to the coach's statement to SGGP on January 24, the entire team is fully focused on meeting all professional requirements before getting ready to compete in the 2026 National Volleyball Championship.
Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet stated that the coaching staff has developed a detailed training plan tailored to each position to enhance the athletes' fitness and tactical skills. Alongside training, the team continues to strengthen its roster, this time through loan agreements. One of the two players Hanoi has added is outside hitter Nguyen Ly Thuy Vi (Quang Ninh).
Early preparation for the new season is essential for Hanoi Tasco Auto, especially as the team recently earned promotion to the 2026 National Championship after winning the 2025 National A League. Recently, the capital's team has taken strong steps in personnel by signing contracts with three national team players: libero Nguyen Khanh Dang, middle blocker Le Thanh Thuy, and outside hitter Vi Thi Nhu Quynh.
It has been noted that Khanh Dang and Thanh Thuy have already joined and trained with the team to prepare for the new season. Meanwhile, outside hitter Vi Thi Nhu Quynh is currently playing in Indonesia and is expected to return to join the Hanoi women's team after the Lunar New Year holiday.
Besides the new recruits, Hanoi's women's squad also includes many talented young players like Vi Thi Yen Nhi, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Le Thuy Linh, and Pham Thuy Linh. Additionally, the coaching staff is considering hiring foreign players to boost the team's strength for the first round of the 2026 National Championship.
