About the AVC Cup 2026 Volleyball Tournament
The 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Cup will take place from June 6 to 14 in the Philippines, featuring 12 top Asian teams: Vietnam, Philippines, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Australia, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Uzbekistan, Chinese Taipei, and Hong Kong (China). This is considered one of the most important continental women's volleyball tournaments of the year, where teams have the opportunity to assert their standing and prepare for larger international competitions in the future.
According to the competition format, the 12 teams are divided into two groups. Group A includes the Philippines, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Australia, and Uzbekistan. Group B consists of Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Iran, Indonesia, Hong Kong (China), and Lebanon. The teams play a single round-robin to accumulate points, with the top two from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The remaining teams will enter classification matches to determine positions from 5th to 12th.
