AVC Cup (formerly known as AVC Challenge Cup, AVC Nations Cup) is the top continental tournament at the national team level, first held in 2018 and held annually since 2022. Although it no longer serves as a qualifier for the FIVB Challenger Cup — an event that has been discontinued — the AVC Cup remains an excellent opportunity for teams to accumulate points and improve their rankings on the world standings.
This year's AVC Cup takes place from June 6 to June 14 in Candon, Philippines, bringing together 12 teams divided into two groups, A and B, as follows:
The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, from which the champion will be determined. The remaining teams will compete in placement matches.
The Vietnamese women's volleyball team has won the AVC Cup for three consecutive seasons: 2023 (defeating Indonesia in the final), 2024 (defeating Kazakhstan), and 2025 (defeating Philippines).
