The Vietnamese men's volleyball team receives a bonus of 800 million VND at the 2026 SEA V.Cup.

The Vietnamese men's national volleyball team received a 500 million VND bonus following their unprecedented SEA V.Cup 2026 title.

Following their first-ever SEA V.Cup victory, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team was given an immediate 500 million VND bonus by the Vietnam Volleyball Federation (VFV) to recognize the historic achievement of head coach Federico Rampazzo and his squad.

On the evening of July 26, Vietnam defeated Thailand 3-2 in the final of the second leg of the 2026 SEA V.Cup, claiming the tournament title for the first time. After this win, the VFV decided to award the team 500 million VND. Earlier, after beating host Indonesia 3-1 in the semifinals, the team had already received a 300 million VND bonus. Thus, for the second leg of the 2026 SEA V.Cup alone, the Vietnamese men's volleyball team received a total of 800 million VND from the VFV.

The championship became even more meaningful as the team went through a demanding journey. In the first leg held in the Philippines, Vietnam finished fourth. In the second leg in Indonesia, Coach Rampazzo's squad started with a 2-3 loss to Thailand but quickly regained form with a 3-0 victory over Myanmar to advance to the semifinals.

In the knockout stage, the Vietnamese team surprised everyone by defeating host Indonesia 3-1 before facing Thailand again in the final. Despite losing the first set 22-25, the Vietnamese players won the next two sets consecutively at 25-23 and 25-19. Thailand leveled the match by taking the fourth set 25-15, but Vietnam showed composure to win the decisive set 15-10, closing the match 3-2 and securing their first-ever SEA V.Cup title.
