All times are in Vietnam time (GMT+7).

The first leg of the 2026 SEA V.Cup women's tournament enters its final day at the Dong Anh Gymnasium in Hanoi. After two rounds, the clash between Vietnam and Thailand at 19:00 is seen as the final of the leg, with direct implications for the title race. Earlier, the Philippines and Indonesia will face off at 16:00 to determine the remaining standings.

The Vietnamese women's volleyball team enters the big match with high confidence after a 3-1 victory over Indonesia. Despite losing the opening set, coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's players remained calm, improved their first-pass reception, and organized more effective attacks to complete the comeback. This was Vietnam's second win in the first leg, following a 3-1 victory over the Philippines on the opening day by Thanh Thuy and her teammates.

Vietnam and Thailand will meet at 19:00 on August 2 at the Dong Anh Gymnasium.

The match against Thailand will be the biggest challenge for the host team. The Thai team still possesses top-tier technical skills, defensive abilities, and squad depth in the region. However, home advantage, high morale, and consistent performances in the first two matches give Vietnam a solid foundation to aim for a favorable result. A win would not only bring the first-leg title but also further affirm the rising status of Vietnamese women's volleyball in Southeast Asia.

The schedule and broadcast channels are subject to change according to the organizers' announcements.
