Therefore, this afternoon's direct confrontation will decide the top position in Group D.

Vietnam enters the match after a 25-22, 25-15, 25-18 victory over Hong Kong (China). Although they faced difficulties in the opening set, Thanh Thuy and her teammates quickly regained control and completed the win in just three sets.

South Korea also showed stable form. The Korean team just beat Qatar 25-6, 25-6, 25-10. Coach Cha Sang-hyun admitted after the match that South Korea's focus had already shifted to the important clash with Vietnam.

Besides Vietnam's match, September 18 also features two other notable encounters. Kazakhstan meets China at 11:00 in Group B, while Chinese Taipei faces Thailand at 17:00 in Group C. Both Thailand and Chinese Taipei have won all their matches after the first two rounds, making this direct match a decider for the rankings in this group.
