On the evening of April 19, another Guangdong derby took place in the fifth round of the China League One, with Guangzhou Panthers hosting Meizhou Hakka at Yuexiushan Stadium. In the first half, Guangzhou Panthers took the lead thanks to an own goal by Hakka player Yang Yihu. In the second half, Wang Junjie scored and Tudolay contributed a goal and an assist, ultimately securing a 3-0 victory for Guangzhou Panthers over Meizhou Hakka. After five rounds, Guangzhou Panthers topped the China League One table with 12 points from four wins and one loss.
